Work,Happiness and Serving Humanity

These are the words of Swami Vivekananda. Please read it. This definitely helps the demotivated, the diseased, light-hearted ,hardworker , youths. Be kind to each and everyone.

This life is short. They alone live who live for others, the rest are more dead than alive. It is not the receiver that is blessed, but it is the giver. The man who asked for no return, the perfectly unselfish man, is the most successful.

It is the gratest privilege in our life that we are allowed to serve the Lord in all these shapes. Then only world awake, when hundreds of large hearted men and women, giving up all desires of enjoying the luxuries of life, will long and exert themselves to their utmost for the well being of the millions of their countrymen who are gradually sinking lower and lower in the vortex of ignorance. The easiest way to make ourselves happy is to see that others are happy. He who knows to serve knows how to rule.

It is far better to die on the field of duty, preaching the truth, than to die like worldly work. Bold words and bolder deeds are what we want. In helping the world we really help ourselves. Blessed are they whose bodies get destroyed in the services of others.

He who sees God in the poor, weak and diseased really worships God, if he sees God only in image, his worship is preliminary. Gratitude and hospitality are the peculiar characteristics of humanity. Even if you cannot give to others for want of money, surely you can at least breathe into their ears some good words or impact some good instructions. Can’t you?

Learn obedience first. Always first learn to be a servant; and then you will be fit to be a master. Stretch forth a helping hand, and open the gates of knowledge to one and all, and give the downtrodden masses their rights and privileges.
