Universal Children Day (20 November)

Universal Children’s Day is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness and awareness among children worldwide. In India it’s celebrated on 14 November to coincide with the birthday of Pandit Nehru.

Children’s Day is an occasion to show children that they are valuable members of society, and to remind everyone that children have right that must be guaranteed and need love and respect to grow to their full potential.

When we are children we seldom think of the future. This innocence leaves us free to enjoy ourselves as few adults can. The day we fret about the future is the day we leave our childhood behind.
